This year marked our 5th annual charity football tournament in aid of Stroke Association and it turned out to be our biggest and best one yet. With a total of 16 teams and almost 200 people attending, we doubled the size of last year’s event!
The day consisted of 56 matches, all 8 minutes long with a winner’s deciding match at the end. Congratulations to L J Rose Accounting who won the entire tournament and walked away with the trophy.
We also hosted some mini games on the day including a crossbar challenge, where’s the football and guess the number of sweets in the jar. Congratulations to all the winners.
In total we managed to raise a great amount of money for Stroke Association – a grand total of £1,371.90 which will go a long way in supporting Stroke Association’s initiatives, research, resources and programs that are all essential to those affected by stoke.
A huge thank you to everyone who attended this year’s event, making it one to not forget and we look forward to hopefully seeing you all again next year!
