The same great business we’ve always been, but stronger. We're extremely proud of the specialist recruitment company we have become, and where we’ve come from. From starting out in a recession back in 2009, we quickly learned how to adapt and remain agile in challenging situations - it's stood us in good stead over the years. We built our business into the market leading, award-winning recruitment offering it is today on a solid foundation of core values and a genuine commitment to long-term relationships with our clients and candidates. We offer a different and fresh approach to recruitment, putting your needs at the forefront of everything we do.

worthy of an award or two
We’re not normally ones to brag, but we’ve won our fair share of recruitment awards over the years. We’re beyond proud that our commitment to providing the highest quality service to our clients and candidates, and a fantastic work environment for our team, has been continually recognised.
From Most Outstanding Accountancy Recruitment Firm at the Corporate Excellence Awards and Recruitment Company of the Year Under £2m at the APSCo Awards, to Excellent Customer Focus and winning the prestigious Employer of the Year award two years running at the Essex Business Awards.
We are incredibly proud of the team we have here at Rutherford Briant and the environment and culture we have built together, making our company such a great place work, develop, achieve and thrive.
diversity & inclusion
D&I must be more than simply a tick-box exercise, which is why we're fully committed to not only our own diversity and inclusion strategy, but also supporting our clients in this area too. We are continually reviewing and adjusting our policies and procedures to support our clients and candidates in the best possible way.
CSR
We like to do what we can when it comes to corporate social responsibility. We do our bit for charity, taking part in various fundraising events throughout the year, including a Walk for Ukraine, a football event for the Stroke Association and a bake off for Children In Need. We’re also making concerted efforts to go greener with a number of new policies – such as no plastic bottles in the office, car share to work, an electric car scheme for our staff, and a cycle to work scheme. When it comes to energy, we’ve implemented more eco-friendly IT equipment to save on energy usage and all lightbulbs are now energy-saving. We are also passionate about using local suppliers to limit our carbon emissions on deliveries, and always consider this in our choice of who to work with.
