Are you a highly skilled ACCA or ACA qualified candidate looking to take on an interim assignment for a globally recognised business?
This is a newly created role to help lead various projects as the business is going through a high-profile system implementation across the business.
This is a rolling contract for a minimum of six months with the possibility of being extended.
As an interim Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
Prepare and consolidate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP financial reporting standards. Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes. Provide financial analysis and insights to support key business decisions. Manage the year-end audit process and liaise with external auditors. Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, sales tax, and regulatory filings. Collaborate with subsidiaries and business units to align financial policies.
About You:
Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven experience in a group accounting role. Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and US GAAP. Demonstrated expertise in financial consolidation and reporting. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
