Iain is our Director, leading the commerce and industry team while having an overarching responsibility for the company’s sales.
Before working in recruitment, Iain worked for several blue-chip retail businesses as a General Manager. In 2008 Iain joined a national recruitment agency before joining Rutherford Briant in 2011. During his time with Rutherford Briant, Iain has progressed from Consultant to Director and has been instrumental in the growth of the business and promoting our brand.
He also heads up our Executive division which supports all business functions for our clients.

Iain’s team compliment his remit by recruiting for all levels below executive level in all business functions such as finance, HR, marketing, IT, procurement, supply chain and office support.
Outside of work
Spending time with his family takes up most of Iain’s time, however, he is a keen runner with his greatest achievement being completing the Manchester Marathon. When he can, he also likes to ride his motorbike, drive his kit car, and go scuba diving.
