With a number of recent promotions and nearly doubling the size of their team in the past 3 years, they are on the lookout for a Procurement Manager for their Essex based office. This is a newly created role, reporting into the Group Financial Controller within a team of 15. You will be responsible for 2 direct team members and oversee all procurement and facilities for the business.
Responsibilities -
- Oversee the business, facilities and procurement functions within the company
- Manage and mentor a team of 2
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing and selection
- Manage 25 suppliers with a mixture of global and independent brands
- Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with company policies and standards.
- Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with multiple departments
Requirements:
- Management experience
- Experience in a group business is ideal
- Previous procurement experience is essential
- Knowledge and/or experience in contract drafting & review
