Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Accountant you will be responsible for:
- Chasing aged debt via phone, letter and email
- Managing the debt collection process along with creating reports
- Processing invoices weekly and monthly
- Coding invoices
- Supplier query resolution
- Supplier statement reconciliations
- Processing invoices and raising purchase order numbers
- Bank Reconciliation
- Revenue recognition at month end
- Assisting with Month end (Training provided) - journal creation, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals and prepayments
Requirements:
As an Assistant Accountant, you will need:
- Prior experience in credit control
- Strong excel skills
- Experience in a high-volume environment
- Strong reconciliations knowledge
